About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our partner companies building native Android products for fintech, logistics, health, and consumer markets. You'll build with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, own architecture and release quality, and work closely with iOS and backend engineers in US time zones.
What You'll Do
- Design and build native Android features with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Own app architecture (MVVM, MVI, Clean) and modularization
- Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, push notifications, and analytics
- Write unit, integration, and UI tests and maintain CI pipelines
- Manage Play Store releases, staged rollouts, and crash monitoring
- Optimize performance, battery, and app size
Requirements
- 5+ years of Android development with Kotlin, apps shipped on Google Play
- Strong Jetpack Compose and Coroutines/Flow experience
- Experience with Room, Retrofit, Hilt or Koin
- Experience with CI/CD for mobile (Gradle, Fastlane, GitHub Actions)
- Understanding of Android performance profiling and memory management
- Excellent written and verbal English (B2+)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or Flutter
- Experience with payments, Google Pay, or in-app billing
- Knowledge of Bluetooth, camera, or location-heavy apps
- Contributions to Android open-source libraries
